Terms & Conditions of Service

This Agreement sets out your legal rights as a Getsafetytraining.ie customer.

 

Essential service information

By booking a place on our Safe Pass courses, you confirm that you understand that our services may not offer all of the features you many except from a conventional phone line or phone line booking; may sometimes be unavailable as a result of things over which we have no control, for example, the weather, power disruptions and failures of your internet service

By booking on to our Safe Pass course you specifically accept these restrictions as a condition of purchase.

 

Definitions

1.1 These terms of service describe the basis for the purchase by you of the FAS Safe Pass training course (the “Service”).

1.2 In these terms of service, “Getsafetytraining.ie”, “we” and “us” means Getsafetytraining.ie.

 

Formation of agreement

2.1 A legal agreement for us to sell you the Service is made on the basis of these terms of service when we accept your order for the Service through our website at Getsafetytraining.ie (This agreement between us is referred to in these terms of service as this “Agreement”.)

2.2 A summary of the safepass information, the price, and the date of the course is set out on our website at Getsafetytraining.ie and will be confirmed on your order page.

 

When this Agreement Begins

3.1 We will confirm receipt and acceptance of your order by an automatic screen confirmation of the order on our website. We will also follow this up with a confirmatory e-mail. The participant will also receive an SMS reminder message of the forthcoming training course

 

Orders

4.1 By placing an order for the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood, and you agree to, the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You also confirm that you are of legal age (at least 16 years old) and that you have the right and ability to enter this Agreement and become bound by its terms.

4.2 In placing the order and to ensure the highest level of security of information passing between our customers and our servers, Getsafetytraining.ie uses what is known as SSL. This is an encryption method that scrambles information while it is moving from one source to another to prevent the information being viewed or tampered with. This encryption method is the industry standard for online banking and online shopping.

 

Orders & Payment for Orders

5.1 Unless a participant is enrolled via Getsafetytraining.ie’s online booking by an appointed representative from an authorised corporate account holder, and unless that corporate account holder has been given approved credit terms by Getsafetytraining.ie, then it is expected that that the fee for the course to be undertaken is fully paid up before the course starts . This can be made by Laser card or credit card on the Getsafetytraining.ie website.

5.2 Orders shall be accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted if the services are available and your credit card / debit card is authorised for the transaction.

5.3 In the event that the client having paid the fee for training and is then unable to attend, the following will apply:

          5.3.1 Full fee returned if written email cancellation is provided seven or more days before training

          5.3.2 20% of fee is returned to client if written cancellation is provided within 7 to 1 day before training.

          5.3.3 No fee returned to the client in the event that client does not attend on day of training and has not notified the service provider.

5.4 Getsafetytraining.ie reserve the right to cancel a training course. If the course is cancelled, Getsafetytraining.ie will make contact with the client or client representative and rebook the participant into a future course. The rebooked (further) course will not be more that 20 days past the existing booking. If a fee has been paid for the original course booked, then that fee will apply to the rebooked course, and no other payment will apply.

5.5 If Getsafetytraining.ie cannot reschedule a cancelled course within 20 days, the course fee will be fully refunded to the entity that paid the original course fee.

 

Entities making the orders

6.1 The first type of entity that can make an order is a member of the public who does not have an account setup with Getsafetytraining.ie. They are expected to use the payment facilities on www.Getsafetytraining.ieto pay for their training courses.

6.2 Discounts will apply and be based on the volume of people that are booked at any one time. On calculations and discounts are displayed on the homepage of the website.

6.3 The second type of entity that will book Safe Pass training courses with us are account holders. They will be given a username and password to logon to the site, choose their courses and book individuals onto the course. Each of these clients will have a preapproved credit limit that they can avail of.

6.4 All credit terms must be abided by. Getsafetytraining.ie reserve the right to change the credit limit of our account holders.

 

Billing Disputes

7.1 You must notify Getsafetytraining.ie in writing within 7 days after receiving your credit card statement if you dispute any Getsafetytraining.ie charges. Billing disputes should be notified to admin@Getsafetytraining.ie.

 

Our responsibility to you

8.1 We will take all reasonable care to keep your order secure, but in the absence of our sole negligence we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data (including credit and account details) which you provide when accessing or ordering from us. Getsafetytraining.ie do not store your credit or debit card details.

 

Statutory Rights

9.1 These terms of service do not affect your statutory rights (if appropriate) as a consumer.
